DAYMOND Douglas William John On Saturday, 12th August 2023, Douglas, a well-known farmer and Holstein breeder, formerly of Payhembury, died peacefully at Hembury Fort House with his family around him, aged 88 years. Beloved husband to Beatrice Vera, much loved father of Wendy, Anthony, Jacqueline and Roger, adored father-in-law, grand-father, and great grand-father. A Thanksgiving Service will be held at St Mary's Church Payhembury on Thursday 31st August at 12.30 p.m. Flowers, or donations if desired, in memory of Douglas, in aid of The Stroke Association can be given by retiring collection or may be sent c/o Layzell Funeral Services, The Old Court, Dowell Street, Honiton, EX14 1LZ.
