WALTON Michael known as The Bard of Beer to many, aged 90 years. Passed away gently in peace on 4th March 2023. He will be greatly missed as a treasured contributing essence of the village of Beer and greatly missed by all his friends worldwide. Funeral service to take place on Monday 27th March 2023 at 12.00pm at St Michael's Church, Beer. Donations if desired to UNICEF (Childrens Emergency Fund) may be made online at www.hansfords-funeral.co.uk or cheques made payable to the charity may be sent to Hansfords Funeral Service, Bay View, Trevelyan Road, Seaton EX12 2NL.

Dearest Michael

My favourite Bard of Beer. There will never be another Michael! You were unique, wise and kind with a beautiful smile and eyes that twinkled. Your writing was wonderful and I will miss sending my letters and cards to you. Whenever I am in Beer I will always think of you. Rest in peace dear Michael in the light that you deserve.
